Ornaments, Lights, Kalanda/Carols, Gingerbread Men, Hot Cocoa, Santa Claus, OH MY! It was a wonderful evening filled with great fellowship with all sharing the spirit of the Nativity Season!

What a wonderful Family Ministry Harvest Festival event! We enjoyed eating together, painting and decorating pumpkins, and playing bingo! In addition, the adults had a session with Father Dionysios discussing the Parable of the Sower and the importance of harvesting. We ended the evening with the Small Compline and our traditional Candy Dive. Until next year!

Around 1,500 palm crosses were folded! After dinner, there were breakout sessions for all! The youth participated in wonder activities which include a reader’s theater of the Scripture verses regarding Lazarus being raised from the dead, and learning about building up the virtues using the game Jenga as a metaphor. The adults had guest speaker Joanne Tassiopoulos Hall who spoke on drugs and the youth today.

Families came together on the eve of the first Saturday of Souls to learn how to make koliva, the meaning, and the importance of remembering those who have fallen asleep in the Lord. It was beautiful evening which ended with a Small Compline.

Over 160 people were in attendance! It was a night filled with great fellowship, dancing, music, and food!

The Youth Gala is a fundraising event for youth ministries at Saint Catherine's Church.  The night included a buffet dinner with beer and wine, silent auction, live auction, and live entertainment from the St. Catherine’s Dance Group and DJ Lacos!  It was a great evening for a great cause!
