ST. CATHERINE’s GREEK SCHOOL

At our Greek School, our vision is to provide an authentic and comprehensive education that embraces the beauty of the Greek language, both in its classical and modern forms. With native speaker instructors and a strong focus on history, tradition, and Greek traditional dances, we strive to create a rich and immersive learning environment. We recognize the power of songs and dances as language tools, incorporating them into our curriculum to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding. Our goal is to empower students with the knowledge and skills to become fluent, culturally literate, and proficient in Greek traditional dances, celebrating the vibrant heritage of Greece.

Saint Catherine’s Greek School is a ministry of Saint Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church.  Its goal is the teaching of the modern Greek language, the Greek history and culture, as well as the Greek Orthodox faith.

At our Greek School students have the opportunity to be on the Ellinomatheia’s track, in which they are prepared to take the official Greek Language Exams.

They are presented with Certificates of Attainment in Greek and depending on the level, this can be used for college credits, entrance to Greek Universities, and work in the future.
